This is a retirement home for Mr. and Mrs. Kilty. Their site is dominated by Large Live oaks. The house is designed to Flow around the Oaks and to complement them in the site composition.

The site Flows down into a stand of pines beyond which is the equestrian center for Spring Island. The full Glass on both sides of the house gives the impression of being both inside and outside.

The house has a number of fir scissor Trusses in the living area. The exterior siding is clear sealed cedar.
